Just a quick note, did anyone watch Doc Martin last night?
His aunt thought she had lupus (SLE) and thought it was terminal
When he examined her as she became upset, he said there are no tears
you don't have lupus, you have Sjogren's, and its treatable, you will not die
Just thought it was interesting to have auto-immune mentioned on TV!!!!

Me too. I told my husband what was wrong with her as soon as she mentioned eyes and mouth. I felt quite smug when I was right. Doc Martin must surely be one of the funniest programmes on tv.

Same with me Sheila, could have diagnosed her myself!
I love Doc Martin too, in fact anything with Martin Clunes in it is guaranteed to be well worth watching.
